National Mortgage News Highlights Hometap Executive Eric Chacon's Promotion to CIO

Boston-based Hometap recently promoted Eric Chacon to the newly created position of chief information officer.

In his new position, Chacon will be responsible for the home equity investment platform's technology development, utilizing available data to assist homeowners.

Previously, Chacon served Hometap as leader of its enterprise data group. Before joining the company, he applied his background in software engineering and architecture in management roles within financial services at companies, including Citi.
